In an effort to chronicle the history of FUSIONpresents, organize all the content we’ve created, demoed or released, and highlight some of the amazing artists we love and work with, we’ve decided to put together a weekly one hour live stream radio show to showcase our past, present and future!

Monday Night Radio - Episode No. 2 - April 20 2020

In Episode No.2, the 9th Brothers take us through some of the demo recordings Sami, Gish & Mo made in Apartment 1109, including some very raw Beatles covers and classic 1st and “Just a Demo” Gish originals.  Gish also joins in on the call to share the inspiration behind his song “Summer” as well as the inspiration behind the FP Ball design and logo. Please note, FP does not own the songwriting copyright to any of the cover songs recorded.

Monday Night Radio - Episode No. 3 - April 27 2020

In Episode No. 3, the 9th Brothers dive deeper into how Apartment 1109 (and its neighbours) were also the inspiration for a number of songs, introduce original songs by Mo, and share a rare 1109 recording by a fellow Montreal artist, Sule Heitner, who happened to stop by to check out The Apartment, only to be coerced by Sami and Mo to record a song! Sami also touches upon his days at L’Oréal and how he ended up writing a song about a colleague called John.  Please note, FP does not own the songwriting copyright to any of the cover songs recorded.

In Episode No. 5, the 9th Brothers pay tribute to the late and great Little Richard, play a couple of live recordings from the Balattou show, as well as a couple more Gish tracks from “Just a Demo”. Gish joins the call halfway through to discuss the latter half of FP 2003, Publix, promoting on St. Laurent and working at the House of Jazz, ultimately leading to our first paid live shows at O’Regan’s Irish Pub in early 2004. In Episode No. 6, the 9th Brothers talk about FP’s first venue, O’Regan’s Irish Pub in Montreal as well as revisit the last demo recordings of 2003, two of which were recorded on the first 1109 studio computer.  Gish also gets on the call to talk about what happened to his HP laptop, officially the first FP studio computer. The boys also discuss an artist’s demo recording process, and when and if those demos should be released.
